An utterly amazing sewing machine!!



So, I was just wandering along at the car boot sale, carrying some bargains, minding my own buisness when I found THIS!! It's been converted to electric, but I'm not sure how safe it is... so I'll just try and take the electric bit off. And guess how much it was- £5! Yes, really, only five pounds.

Anyway, now I have to go and tackle the ginormous mountain of mess that is my room. See you on the other side....

    Absolutely beautiful sewing machine. I'm quite jealous! There is one just like it (except without the electric part) in the vintage shop down the road but it comes with a hefty price tag.

    But thanks to you, I know there is hope yet to find a bargain!

    So gorgeous! What a wonderful find,too! I have one very similar to that one and it had also been converted to electric, many years ago. You can take the sewing machine to your local sewing machine repair shop and they can test it to see if it's safe to use as it is or if the wiring needs to be upgraded. It's not expensive,either. I use mine a lot and haven't had any problems at all. Enjoy your new treasure!
