Don't you just love custard creams? The way the two crunchy biscuits are sandwiched together with a smooth layer of delectable, cream, the way you can gollop them down in one or nibble the top, and lick off the cream. (Or maybe the latter is just me) Anyway, to cut to the chase, today I made some custard creams. I've always wanted to, and I used Nigella Lawson's recipe.
I used some lovely cutters, the kind with a plunger in the middle where you can mark shapes onto the biscuits. And, guess what? The homemade custard creams taste even better than the shop bought ones!
